The Keiser volleyball team was eliminated from the Sun Conference Tournament on Friday, falling to the Southeastern Fire, 3-1 (25-14, 25-19, 23-25, 25-22), in the Sun Conference Semifinals in Miami Gardens, Florida.
The Seahawks were led by Brooklynn Slater, who recorded a match-high 24 kills and a team-best 19 digs for her 15th double-double of the season. The Sun Conference Player of the Year set the school record for kills in a season with 639 after tonight's performance. Setter Hannah Heide recorded 40 assists in the match, increasing her season total to 1,405 assists (tied with her season total from a year ago - second most in a season). Libero Erika Magin registered 18 digs in the match, improving her season total to 601 digs, becoming the first player in Keiser history with 600 digs in a season.

SET 1 (SEU, 25-14)
- The Fire opened the set with a 7-1 run.
- After another run of 4-1, SEU extended its lead to 11-2.
- Keiser chipped away at the Fire lead, cutting the deficit to five following a kill by Brooklynn Slater. (12-7).
- The Fire outscored the Seahawks 7-2 to take a 10-point lead, 19-9.
- SEU maintained its lead for a win in Set One, 25-14.
SET 2 (SEU, 25-19)
- Another early run by the Fire put Keiser in an 8-1 hole to start Set Two.
- The Seahawks responded, cutting the Fire lead to 11-7.
- Keiser pulled within one, 14-13, outscoring SEU 6-3.
- An attack error by the Fire tied the set at 15-15.
- SEU closed out the set, 10-3, to take a 2-0 lead in the match.
SET 3 (KU, 25-23)
- After SEU took a 5-3 lead, Keiser rattled off six straight points, including four kills by Slater to take a 9-5 edge.
- The Fire tied the game at 15-15, then scored three straight out of a Keiser timeout to lead 18-15.
- A 7-1 run by the Seahawks pushed Keiser into the lead, 22-19.
- Keiser kept its lead for the remainder of the set to force a fourth set, 25-23.
SET 4 (SEU, 25-22)
- Responding to a 3-0 start by the Fire, Keiser scored seven straight points to take a 7-3 lead.
- SEU cut the Keiser lead to one, 8-7, with a 5-1 run.
- After SEU tied the match 14-14, each team exchanged points until Keiser scored three straight for a 20-18 advantage.
- The set was tied at 22-22 when the Fire scored three straight to take the set and the match.

- Outside hitter Brooklynn Slater finished the night with a match-high 24 kills, setting the school record for kills in a season (639).
- Slater leads the Sun Conference and the nation in total kills.
- Slater also recorded a team-best 19 digs for her 15th double-double of the season.
- Setter Hannah Heide recorded 40 assists on Friday, increasing her season total to 1,405 assists (tied with her season total from a year ago - second most in a season).
- The native of Jupiter, Florida, is the school's all-time leader in assists (4,174).
- She became the first player in Keiser history to reach the 4,000-assist plateau.

- Magin leads the conference with 601 digs, becoming the first player in Keiser history with 600 digs in a season.
