The Keiser volleyball team dropped a 3-1 (25-21, 19-25, 25-22, 25-21) decision to the No. 22-ranked St. Thomas Bobcats on Wednesday night. During the match, sophomore Brooklynn Slater recorded the 1,000th kill of her career, becoming just the fifth player in Keiser history to reach the milestone.
Slater, who registered 23 kills also collected 15 digs for her 13th double-double of the season. In all, three Seahawks reached double-digits in kills. Including Slater, Frederica Silva (14) and Sydney Wattles (10) paced the Seahawks. Silva, who recorded a career-high 14 kills also tallied 10 digs for the first double-double of her career.

Hannah Heide notched the fourth match with 50-or-more assists this season, recording 51 on Wednesday.

- After a kill by Wattles, Abygale Lester recorded a service ace as Keiser led 16-12.
- STU scored back-to-back points to make it a 16-12 score.
- Wattles added to the Seahawks' 17 points with a kill, 17-14.
- A kill by Tayla Barnes, followed by a block assist by Barnes and Allende, cut the Keiser lead to one, 17-16.
- Out of a Keiser timeout, Slater extended the lead to 18-16 with a kill.
- After a kill by STU's Alexandra Macaskill, Slater rattled off back-to-back kills to give Keiser a 20-17 edge.
- A point by Erika Magin and a service ace by Slater forced STU to call a timeout, 22-18.

- The score remained tied 8-8 before KU scored back-to-back points to take a 10-8 lead.
- STU again tied the match with two straight points, 10-10.
- Both sides continued to battle back-and-forth with the score at 18-18.
- The Bobcats posted consecutive points, 20-18, resulting in a Seahawks timeout.
- Following the timeout, the Bobcats extended their lead to 21-18.
- Heide ended the STU run with a kill, 21-19.
- The Bobcats closed out the set, 25-22.
SET 4Â (STU, 25-21)
- STU took an early 2-1 lead before a kill by Lester tied the set at 2-2.
- With the score tied at 4-4, STU went on a 4-0 run to take an 8-4 lead.
- A kill by Silva brought Keiser within two, 8-6.
- STU outscored KUÂ 3-1Â to push its lead to 11-7.
- Trailing 13-9, KU scored four straight points to tie the set at 13-all.
- A kill by Silva gave Keiser its first lead since the start of the set, 17-16.
- STU responded with two consecutive points to regain the lead, 18-17.
- The Bobcats extended their lead to 21-17 before Heide posted a kill to make it 21-18.
- STU held on for the victory, 25-21.

- Erika Magin led all Seahawks with 16 digs, increasing her career total to 2,116 (school record).

- Despite the loss, Keiser clinched the No. 3 seed in the upcoming Sun Conference Volleyball Tournament.
