WGOLF Preview - Jupiter Women's Invitational

No. 1 Women's Golf

No. 2 Women's Golf to Compete at Jupiter Women's Invitational

The No. 2-ranked Keiser women's golf team returns to action on Monday, competing in this year's Jupiter Women's Invitational October 9-10. The two-day event will take place at Jonathan's Landing Golf Club (Par 70, 5,890 yards).

The eight-team field will consist of 49 total golfers with action beginning at 8:30 AM (shotgun start).

The Seahawks are coming off a second-place finish at The Invite at Innisbrook. Keiser was the top-finishing NAIA program as a total of eight teams in this year's field were among the current NAIA Women's Golf Coaches' Top 25.

Sophomore Hoi Ki Lau recorded the eighth top-5 finish of her career and second of the season, finishing second. The product of Hong Kong shot a 3-over, 216 (72-70-74) over the two-day tournament. Teammate Jolie Wong produced her second straight top-5 finish, placing fifth with a 6-over, 219 (75-68-76).

Wong enters this week's action with two top-5 finishes this season and five for her career. Wong posted a fifth-place finish at the Invite at Innisbrook on September 26. On the year, Wong has recorded a season stroke average of 71.83.

2. Hoi Ki Lau - So. / Hong Kong
Lau is coming off a second-place finish at the Invite at Innisbrook back on September 26. It marked the eighth top-5 finish of her Keiser career as the second-year Seahawks enters this week's tournament with a season stroke average of 72.00.

3. Carolin Alblas - Jr. / Neuss, Germany
Alblas will be playing in the 12th event of her Keiser career on Monday. The native of Neuss, Germany, has appeared in both tournament's this season and has registered a season stroke average of 75.67.

4. Luz Maria Ardila - So. / Bogota, Colombia
Ardila enters this week's action with one top-5 finish this season. The native of Bogota, Colombia has tallied a season stroke average of 73.67. 

5. Mohea Mansbendel - Fr. / Noumea, New Caledonia
Mansbendel is making her third appearance as a Seahawk. She has recorded one top-5 finish this year and has tallied a season stroke average of 74.67
