KU Volleyball Travels to Warner for Sun Conference Match

The Keiser volleyball team returns to conference action on Saturday, October 14, with a trip to Lake Wales, Florida, to face the Warner Royals. First serve is set for 10:00 AM.

The Seahawks are looking to extend their winning streak to six contest and maintain their third-place spot in the Sun Conference Standings. .

  • Sophomore attacker Brooklynn Slater leads the NAIA in kills (500).
  • Slater's 500  kills this season are the fourth most in a season by a Seahawk.
  • Slater is the first NAIA player this season to reach the 500-kill plateau.
  • The product of Las Vegas, Nevada, also leads the nation in points (568.5) and is tied for fifth in points per set (4.9).
  • The Seahawks are first in the NAIA in total kills (1,415), assists (1324) and  service aces (255).
  • Hannah Heide leads the conference and is second in the nation in assists (1,080).
  • Heide has now tallied 3,849 career assists - 126 shy of becoming the school's all-time leader (Brooklyn VandeHei - 3,975).
  • Heide is only the second player in Keiser history with 3,000-or-more assists. 
  • Sydney Wattles leads the conference with 79 total blocks. 
  • With 45 service aces this season, Erika Magin enters Saturday's action as the school's all-time leader (183). 
  • Magin entered the year as Keiser's all-time leader in digs and comes into Saturday's match with 2,029 for her career.
  • Magin became the first player in Keiser volleyball history to reach the 2000-dig plateau.
  • Magin leads the conference in total digs (468) and is second in digs per set (4.00).
