No. 1 Men's Swimming and Diving Win their Home Opener Against Rollins

No. 1 Keiser University men's swimming and diving team were defeated NCAA Division II Rollins College, 168-94, at the Lake Lytal Aquatic Center on Friday afternoon.

Meet Notes
  • In the 200 Medley Relay, Matheus Queiroz, Noel De Geus, Fynn Kunze and Ivan Amillo placed first with a time of 1:33.01.
  • Carlos Trinidad came in first place in the 1000 Free with a time of 9:55.58. He beat his previous top time (No. 3 the NAIA).
  • Hanno Boeckmann came in first in the 200 Free with a time of 1:43.77, Alex Kusik placed second with a time of 1:44.45.
  • In the 100 Backstroke, Kunze placed second with a time of 52.75.
  • De Gues placed first in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 54.20, he beat his previous top time (No. 1 n the NAIA) 
  • In the 200 Fly, Austin Bryson came in second place for the Seahawks with a time of 2:02.00 as well as Kaleb Harriott placing third (2:03.14).
  • The Seahawks swept the top three spots in the 50 Free
    • Quieroz came in first place with a time of 21.12
    • Kusik placed second (21.19). 
    • Trinidad placed third (21.67).
  • For the 100 Free, Boeckmann placed second for Keiser with a time of 47.10 while Quieroz placed third (47.30).   
  • Kunze placed first in the 200 Backstroke with a time of 1:54.60, Kusik also placed third with a time of 1:58.64.
  • De Gues placed first in the 200 Breaststroke as she finished with a time of 2:04.68. Myklebusthaug placed third with a time of 2:13.54. 
  • In the 500 Free, Trinidad placed first with a time of 4:48.40. 
  • Keiser took the top two places in the 100 Butterfly
    • Robin Killan finished second (51.49) where he beat his previous top time (No. 8 in the NAIA).
    • Bryson finished  third (52.38) where he beat his previous top time (No. 11 in the NAIA).
  • Acuna placed second in the 400 IM (4:18.22)
  • In the 200 Free Relay, De Geus, Killan, Kusik and Boeckmann placed first with a time of 1:23.90.
    • In third, Bryson, Kunze, Amillo and Daniel Maudes Domenech with a time of 1:27.32.

Keiser will be back in action October 27th to battle against NCAA Division I Florida Atlantic University at 3:00 PM.
