After taking the lead early in the second half, a late goal for No. 5 SCAD would even the game and force a draw for the No. 18 Keiser women's soccer team. The Seahawks tried to take advantage of the hot conditions, outshooting the Bees 23-5 but Keiser was only able to find the back of the net on one of the opportunities as Emilia Nilsson continued her hot streak of games.

How it Happened
  • SCAD had the first shot on target in the first half in the 13th minute as both teams worked on feeling each other out.
  • Keiser's best chance of the half came in the 31st minute as an interception from Olivia Pousette left Oline Sundgot and Ramona Kannady in a 2-on-1 with the defender. Sundgot opted to play Kannady through but a huge save from Katelynn Balsiger stopped the chance.
  • The ball immediately fell to Seira Uko but once again the shot would be saved by the SCAD keeper.
  • Hana Masuko nearly scored on a free kick in the 37th minute as the bounce nearly went over the head of Balsiger but she was able to bring it down.
  • The first half ended with the Seahawks holding a clear advantage in shots 12-1 with three shots on goal to the Bees' one.
  • In the 53rd minute, Georgia Little played to her strength of creating space and crossing the ball, finding Emilia Nilsson on the back post who just needed to put a body on the cross to place it into the net and put KU up 1-0.
  • The Seahawk offense would continue to press, firing off four more shots over the next 10 minutes as SCAD dealt with the pressure.
  • With 20 minutes to play, the Bees would begin to turn on their attack forcing a save out of Zara Board.
  • Out of nowhere, a pass from Ines Sommer found Mia Nelson who ripped a shot from the right side of the box over the Keiser keeper and into the left side netting to tie the game with less than eight minutes to play.
  • Keiser would work forward for the final chances of the game however the final shot from Olivia Pousette would sail wide with seven seconds remaining and seal the draw.
