Coach's Corner
"Disappointing result today," said Head Coach, Daniel Finn, "Just like Saturday, the doubles point turned out to be crucial. Unlike Saturday, I felt that the boys did a much better job today of digging in, fighting, and responding when things didn't go our way. In a match this tight and this close, it literally comes down to a couple of points here or there and you have to make sure you're there in the moment and play your best tennis when you need to. In every match that we lost today, I could count the number of points on my hand that we needed to make in order to flip the score and we just didn't execute when we needed to. Of course, give credit to Barry. They're a great team and compete at the highest level, but in our heads, we have a feeling that we let this one get away. The biggest thing now is learning from it and turning our attention to indoor nationals. We have a great team with high expectations and we will get right back to work and start getting ready."
