The No. 2 ranked Keiser University men's tennis team will begin their spring season with Division II, No. 3 Saint Leo on the road in Saint Leo, Fla. on Saturday, January 28 at 2:00 p.m.
About the Seahawks
- Keiser comes into the year with four players ranked in the ITA Top 25 with all four placing top 10.
- Yassir Kilani is the highest-ranked member of the Seahawks at No. 7 followed by Soufiane El Mesbahi at No. 8, Martin Carrizo at No. 9, and Shaheed Alam at No. 10.
- In doubles two of the teams competing in the fall will be ranked with Kilani and Alam at No. 11, and Carrizo and El Mesbahi ranked at No. 12.

Head Coach
Daniel Finn said, "Excited to get things started tomorrow. The boys have been training well and it's always good to get the season started with a tough test. Saint Leo has a quality program year in and year out in division two and will be a good opportunity for us to test ourselves and test our capabilities. We have a group of new faces this year with high talent ceilings so it will be good to see where we stand tomorrow."

Scouting the Lions: Saint Leo ranks third in Division II headed into the 2023 spring season. The Lions have two players that rank inside the top 50 of the initial ITA Rankings as Tao Castillo starts the year at No. 18 and Vincent Thiel ranks No. 37. Saint Leo also brings one ranked doubles team into the spring with Vicens Miquel and Lavinia Lancellotti slotted as the No. 15 team in DII.
