The Sun Conference announced the 2023 Preseason Women's Lacrosse Coaches Poll on Thursday afternoon with Keiser picked to finish first in the conference.
Top of the League
- Keiser topped the poll with 34 total points, including four first-place votes.
- Just behind with 33 votes was SCAD-Savannah with 33 points and three first-place votes.
A look Back at Last Season
- KU finished the 2022 season with a 15-4 overall record and a perfect 6-0 record in Mid-South Conference play.
- The Seahawks won their third consecutive MSC Regular Season Championship last year and claimed their second conference tournament championship in as many years.
- The team made their fourth NAIA National Tournament appearance, falling in the quarterfinals.
- Keiser returns 13 players from last year's squad including two-time NAIA All-American, Madison Andrews.
- Rebecca Gibson, Leah Siter, Chloe Foley, and Sydney Passaro return as captains this season as they lead the Seahawks into the first Sun Conference Women's Lacrosse season.
