Seven different Seahawks scored goals on Thursday as the No. 3-ranked Keiser men's soccer team thumped the Brewton-Parker Barons, 11-0. Adrian Camacho netted the third hat trick of his career, leading the Seahawks to their most-lopsided victory since the 2020 season. 


.How it Happened
  • Keiser had two early chances as Lucas Jacobs hit the crossbar in the 12th minute followed by a shot that just missed frame by Alexander Stéen in the 13th minute.
  • Stéen regrouped and got the Seahawks on the board with a goal in the 14th minute with a right-footed shot to the lower left corner of the net. 
  • The goal was Stéen's second of the season for the native of Alvangen, Sweden.
  • The score was set up by Jacobs and Charlie Hennen who both were credited with assists on the play.
  • The Barons tried to tie the game in the 22nd minute with a pair of shots on net one by Landon Bradford which was saved by Santiago Nebot Oliver and the second was a shot by Jacob Shields with Nebot Oliver off his line, saved by a Alejandro Varela Sabio.
  • Four minutes later Rui Reis made it a two-goal game with his third goal of the season in the 26th minute.
  • Reis took a pass from Gabi Villafane for a one-on-one with goalkeeper Charles Williams. Reis buried the ball in the back of the net with a right-footed shot. Villafane notched the assist on the score.
  • Adrian Camacho Castro scored the team's third goal of the half with a curling shot to the far upper 90. From the left side of the area, Camacho Castro curled a shot towards the far post for his first goal of the season. Nick Akoto was credited with an assist on the play.
  • After 45 minutes of action, Keiser held a 16-3 edge in total shots (9-2 on net). 
  • It didn't take the Seahawks long to add to their lead in the second half as Reis scored his second goal of the game in the 47th minute.
  • The score was the result of Reis collected his own rebound off a blocked shot. 
  • After two scoring chances for the Barons were thwarted by Nebot Oliver, Keiser responded with its fifth goal of the game as Camacho Castro netted his second goal of the game, scoring in the 56th minute. 
  • Both Jack Casey and Belmin Ramdedovic recorded assists on the Camacho Castro goal.
  • Elias Jassim scored his second goal of the season, heading the ball past Williams in the 70th minute, making it 6-0. Adam Dahou, who crossed the ball to Jassim was credited with the assist.
  • Camacho Castro completed the hat trick, giving KU a 7-0 lead in the 73rd minute. The native of Bogota, Colombia, got past multiple defenders for his first hat trick of the season and the third of his career. Nikolas Cam Orellana notched his first of four assists in the game on the play.
  • In the 77th minute, Anthony Vargas tallied his first goal as a Seahawk, finishing a cross from Cam Orellana (his second helper of the game). Jassim was also credited with an assist, setting up Cam Orellana for the cross.
  • Fernando Abreu made it a 9-0 game in the 87th minute, striking a shot from just outside the area. It marked the third straight score in which Cam Orellana assisted on the goal. 
  • Less than 30 seconds later, Jassim added to the Seahawk total with his second goal of the game, 10-0.
  • The Seahawks closed out the scoring in the 90th minute with a goal by Alessio Silva. Both Abreu and Cam Orellana assisted the score.
  • Nebot Oliver and James Kennedy combined for the Seahawk's first clean sheet of the season.
  • Nebot Oliver, who started the game, earned his second win of the season, making three saves in 73 minutes of action.


Game Notes
  • The Seahawks improved to 2-0-1 with the win. 
  • The win moved the Seahawk's unbeaten streak at home to five, dating back to last season. 
  • Fifteen different Seahawks registered at least one point on Thursday, including seven different goal scorers.
  • Adrian Camacho Castro notched the team's first hat trick of the season. It was the third of his Keiser career. 
  • The four assists by Nikolas Cam Orellana tied the school record (four other players) for most assists in a game.
  • It marked the first time since the 2018 season that a Seahawk posted four helpers in a game.
  • The 11 goals were the most by a Keiser team since the 2020 season when the Seahawks defeated Trinity Baptist, 12-1 on September 8, 2020 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
  • The shutout was the 75th in program history and 40th at home.
  • The victory was the 65th for Gavin Oldham as the head coach of the Seahawks.
