Grace McClellan was named NAIA National Defensive Player of the Week honors, announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon.
- The award marks the first NAIA weekly honor of McClellan's career.
- McClellan was named the Sun Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.
- The sophomore earned her third solo shutout of the season against No. 1 Tennessee Southern, tallying six saves in the contest.
- She has started every game of the Seahawks' record-breaking season by not allowing a goal through four games.
