Camacho Castro and Stéen Lead The Way for No. 7 Men's Soccer

No. 7 men's soccer started off their homestretch of five home games with a dominant 6-0 win over the Florida College Falcons.  Adrian Camacho Castro and Alexander Stéen lead the way for the Seahawks with two goals a piece. 

.How it Happened
  • After a slow start and a lightning delay, the Seahawks found their way to the board at the 32nd minute with a goal from Gabi Villafane after a cross from Rui Reis to make it 1-0. 
  • With the help of Jack Casey, 8 minutes later the Seahawks would make it 2-0 with a cross to find Adrian Camacho Castro for the one-timer. 
  • Within two minutes, Rui Reis would make it 3-0 from the left side with assists from Gabi Villafane and Jack Casey
  • The Seahawks would score three times in the first half to keep a steady lead while Florida College had a total of eight saves. 
  • With a dominant offensive presence, the Seahawks found themselves with five offside calls in the first half. 
  • Just after halftime, a foul called against Keiser did not stop the momentum for the Seahawks as they followed in the 49th minute with Alexander Stéen using his left foot to find the right side of the net off a pass from Gabi Villafane for his second assist of the day (4-0).
  • Adrian Camacho Castro and Rui Reis teamed up for the fifth Seahawk goal of the day in the 56th minute on a breakaway to make it 5-0.
  • With just under a minute and a half left of the match, Stéen added to the Seahawks' lead with a header off a chipped cross from Nikolas Cam Orellana
                                                                           

Game Notes
  • Four different Seahawks scored in today's match. 
  • Adrian Camacho Castro and Rui Reis are now tied as the Seahawks leaders in goals with six. 
  • With four goals on the season, Alexander Stéen is climbing up the latter as he sits in third place.
  • With his assist today, Nikolas Cam Orellana continues to lead with five assists for the Seahawks.
  • Gabi Villafane had a notable performance with one goal and two assists. 
  • It was a quiet day in net for Santiago Nebot Oliver as he only faced one shot from the Falcons.
  • This is the second shutout the Seahawks have recorded this season.
  • Keiser currently out scores their opponents 28-6 in their last five games while averaging 5.6 goals a game.
