The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced on Monday its 2021-22 Outstanding Academic Award Recipients with the Keiser Seahawks earning the organization's Presidents Special Recognition honor.
The Seahawks posted a 3.80 team GPA for the 2021-22 academic year, becoming one of just four programs in the NAIA to earn the Presidents Special Recognition (3.5-or-more GPA).
Claiming the school's first National Championship in men's golf this season, KU boasted the NAIA Dave Williams Coach of the Year presented by Golf Pride Grips (
Brandon Miller), the winner of the Jack Nicklaus Award presented by Barbasol, and the Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award recipient presented by StrackaLine (
Jakob Stavang Stubhaug) to go along with six NAIA All-Americans.
