"Tough one today," said Head Coach,Â
Daniel Finn, "Regardless coming into today for us to have to play a couple players down, it's not an easy place to play. Furthermore, to do it against one of the best teams in DII, and in my opinion the best team in division II just really makes it an uphill battle. I'll give complete credit to nova, Doug's got an amazing team and should contend for a national title. My biggest frustration on our end with the girls was us over hitting and trying to do too much in situations where we didn't have to. We've talked in depth this year about how good our girls can be and them needing to believe it and today was just another example of us being right in that situation. We were in the points and making untimely mistakes trying to create something that's not there. Regardless, a match like this won't define us. We will get right back to work and start preparing for the next matches in front of us."

The Seahawks will be looking for another match before heading to the Sun Conference Championship in Brunswick, Georgia.
