No. 1 Keiser women's lacrosse used a huge second quarter to cruise past the Bulldogs of Tennessee Wesleyan on Wednesday in Athens, Tennessee. 

First Quarter

  • Madison Andrews opened the scoring in the game with a goal at the 13:57 mark.
  • Back-to-back goals by the Bulldogs saw Keiser with their first deficit of the season with 11:16 left in the first.
  • The Seahawks would respond with a five-goal run beginning with Hayley Frew at the 9:56 mark and ending with Lena Finkelstein putting KU up 6-2 with 3:00 to play.
  • TWU scored the final goal of the period with 1:50 left as Keiser led going into the second, 6-3.

  • The third quarter was much more quiet with just four goals being scored.
  • Andrews netted her hat trick with 11:59 showing to put Keiser up 16-3.
  • Lomaglio followed with her second of the game at the 5:23 mark.
  • Following a Bulldogs score, Sydney Passaro found the back of the net with 1:45 remaining in the period to give the Seahawks an 18-4 lead heading to the fourth

  • Following Andrews' fourth goal of the contest, Ashtyn Stoor put in her first goal as a Seahawk to bring the Keiser lead to 20-4 with 10:17 showing,
  • Hanna scored back-to-back goals separated by nearly six minutes to secure her hat trick with 1:21 left on the clock.
  • Lomaglio earned her hat trick with 20 seconds left in the game to seal the deal and put KU up 23-4.
KU Highlights
  • 1: Cassidy Green made the lone KU save as the Bulldogs managed just five shots on goal.
  • 3: Three different hat tricks from last game as Andrews (4), Lomaglio, and Hanna completed the three-goal feat.
  • 4: Wednesday marked the fourth meeting of the two sides with Keiser improving to 3-1 in the series.
  • 4: Jasmine Sidawi led the Seahawks with four groundballs on the afternoon.
