The Keiser women's basketball's season ended on Tuesday with a 48-44 loss to the Ave Maria Gyrenes in the quarterfinals of the 2022 Sun Conference Women's Basketball Tournament.
With the loss, KU ended the year with an 18-12 overall record, finishing fourth in the Sun Conference Standings.

Shykim Gillion grabbed an offensive rebound off of her own miss. A strong defensive play by Lavariah Armstead forced a Seahawk turnover resulting in a foul and two shots for the Gyrenes at the free-throw line. Armstead made both shots, pushing AMU lead to three, 47-44 with 1:19 left in the game.

- Shykim Gillion scored the first bucket of the game to give the Seahawks a 2-0 lead with 9:00 remaining in the quarter.

- The Gyrenes jumped out toa 34-28 lead with 6:34 left to play.
- A 3-pointer Gillion (4:33) and layup by Denis (3:43) brought the Seahawks to within one, 39-38.
- AMU pushed its lead to 45-38 following a Monica Behrend 3-pointer with 3:06 left in the game.
- A triple by Fertig cut the Ave Maria lead to 45-44 with 2:22 on the clock.
