  • Nate Brodsky led off the game with a double down the left-field line off of the first pitch he saw.
  • The next batter, Cyrus Grimes, took a 3-1 pitch deep to right-center field to give KU a 2-0 lead.

  • Bradley Fleenor reached first with a lead-off walk.
  • Brad Toxen homered to left-center to tie the game, 2-2.
  • The Night Hawks loaded the bases later in the inning.
  • Matthew Delay Jr. singled up the middle, bringing home runners from second and third.
