The Keiser wrestling (2-9, 1-6 MSC) team dropped their final dual of the season to No. 2 Life(Ga.) (17-3, 6-0 MSC), 44-6 on Friday, February 11, in Marietta, Georgia.
The highlights of the day came from
Patrick Gould and
Earnest Johnson who both picked up decision wins for the Seahawks. Gould's 14-7 win came at 141 pounds where he defeated William Dahlgren. Johnson took over in the third period of his match with two takedowns to secure a 5-2 win over Spencer Dacus.
"This week was a good test as we prepare for conference," said Head Coach,
Nick Soto. "Today there were too many matches where we gave their wrestling too much respect. We have to believe in our body of work and continue to fight. Earnest (Johnson) continues to be a leader by example. His continues to remain consistent and it shows in his wrestling."
