Seahawk Hurlers
  • Michael Cabeza earned his first victory of the season (1-1), allowing just one run on eight hits while striking out four in five and one-third innings of action.
  • Jonathan Amonica picked up the save, allowing only one hit with two Ks in one and one-third inning.
  • Amonica came into the game with bases loaded and two outs with KU up 2-1 in the top of the sixth, getting the Barons to ground out and end the threat.

  • Tim Bouchard drove in a game-high four runs, going 2-for-5 from the dish. 
  • Nate Brodsky crossed the plate three time in Game Two, batting 2-for-3 with an RBI.
  • Matt Schrick was a 2-for-2 with two runs scored. He also drew two walks.
  • Xavier Acosta scored two runs, going 1-for-3 from the dish.
  • Anthony Catalano hit his fourth HR of the season.

  • With Nate Brodsky on third, an error by the Baron's shortstop allowed the Keiser right-fielder to score.
  • Anthony Catalano, who reached on the error, stole second and then came home on an RBI-single by Priamo Lozada.

  • BPC's Malik Germany led of the inning with a triple.
  • A double by Jordan Rahn to center field drove in Germany.
  • Brewton-Parker had the bases loaded with two out when KU relief pitcher Jonathan Amonica came out the pen and got Drew DeMasi to ground out to end the inning.

  • The Seahawks loaded the bases with Matt Schrick on third, Xavier Acosta on second and Brodsky on first.
  • Cyrus Grimes drove in Schrick on a sacrifice fly to center.
  • Acosta moved to third on the sac fly while Brodsky advanced to second on a wild pitch.
  • A two RBI-single by Tim Bouchard to right-center scored both Acosta and Brodsky.
  • The next batter, Catalano, homered to left field to open up the game, 7-1.

  • Zach Mazur doubled to left-center to lead off the inning.
  • After walks by Schrick and Acosta loaded the bases, a base-on-balls for Brodsky scored run number eight.
  • A wild pitch brought home Schrick.
  • Bouchard doubled down th right-field line, scoring both Brodsky and Acosta to end the game, 11-1.
