Men's Basketball Hosts the SUN/SSAC Crossover Challenge

Keiser men's basketball will host the SUN/SSAC Crossover Challenge on December 29-31 in West Palm Beach, Florida. Keiser will be the host team with Dalton State, Webber International, William Carey, Coastal Georgia, Brewton-Parker, and Florida Memorial all playing at the Student Life Center.

  • Thursday will begin the first SUN/SSAC Crossover Challenge with Keiser hosting the southern site and Faulkner hosting the other site in Montgomery, Ala.
  • Keiser returns from their holiday break with a 7-5 overall record.
  • The Seahawks went 2-2 in seven days leading up to the Christmas Break taking wins over McPherson and Johnson.
  • Core'von Lott led the team on the week in points and assists over the four games averaging 16.8 points and just under three assists per game.
  • Keiser's leading scorer, Lott now averages 16.7 points per game and also leads the team in assists.
  • The leading rebounder for the Seahawks, Justin Tucker enters the contest with an average of 7.3 boards per game.

  • Brewton-Parker enters the tournament with a 3-8 overall record hoping to break a seven-game losing skid.
  • Offensively, the Barons are led by Lance Smith averaging just over 21 points and five rebounds per game.
  • Dalton State holds an overall record of 7-5 on the year after falling to Faulkner on December 17, 83-63.
  • The Roadrunners are led by three different players averaging just above 10 points per game with Jaelin Ferrell leading the way at 11.3 points per game.
