The Seahawks got off to a strong start but were not able to hold off the No. 16 Indiana Tech Warriors at home on Sunday night, 76-67.

A breakaway dunk by Rog Stein for Indiana Tech sparked an 11-3 run that gave the Warriors their first and final lead of the game.
 
 
How it Happened


First Half
Keiser 41, Indiana Tech 33
  • Keiser hit the boards early, collecting four rebounds leading to the first basket of the game from Shaquille Harris with less than a minute passing.
  • The make sparked a 12-2 run for the Seahawks giving them a 10-point lead early in the game.
  • Indiana Tech responded with a 4-for-4 stretch that resulted in a 9-2 run to cut the lead to 14-11 still in favor of KU.
  • The Seahawks would respond with a 9-3 run of their own Sinai Enoch and Brandon Younger getting involved.
  • IU Tech went on to get four back but Harris had five points of his own to keep it a 28-18 lead for KU with 6:23 left in the first.
  • A three-pointer from DaQuan Williams capped a 7-0 run for Keiser forcing a timeout from Indiana Tech with 5:02 on the clock and KU leading 33-18.
  • The Warriors responded with a 9-4 run before Justin Tucker sank a jumper to make it 39-27 in favor of Keiser at the 2:21 mark.
  • Indiana Tech took the momentum into the half with a 6-2 run but the Seahawks still leading 41-33 at the break.

Second Half
Indiana Tech 76, Keiser 67 
  • Indiana Tech was off and running early in the second with a 10-4 run to Keiser's lead to 45-43 at first media timeout with 16:04 on the clock.
  • The Seahawks would respond would a 6-3 run before a three-pointer by the Warriors' Corey McKinney evened the run and made it a 51-49 game with 12:31 showing.
  • The Warriors took their first lead of the game with 9:02 on the clock courtesy of a Rog Stein dunk before Younger tied the game at the free-throw line, 54-54.
  • Indiana Tech would continue to carry the momentum with an 11-2 run to stretch their lead to nine with 5:50 to play in the game.
  • The Seahawks answered with a 7-4 run capped at the line by Core'von Lott to cut the lead to 69-63.
  •  It would not be enough for Keiser as the Warriors would end the game on a 7-4 to close out their 12th win of the season.
