No. 1 women's soccer showed their dominance from start to finish over Florida Memorial at home on Thursday.
Maja Lundman collected her second career hat trick on the afternoon to lead the Seahawks.
- It did not take long for Keiser to get on the attack as Maja Lundman scored first for the Seahawks in the third minute of the game.
- In the fifth minute, it was Lundman finding the back of the net again off a ground cross from Maja Henriksson to put KU ahead 2-0.
- Just over a minute later, Kyoka Koshijima fought off a defender to find Ramona Kannady who scored the third Seahawks goal.
- Kannady would double her total in the 10th minute on Henriksson's third crossing assist of the afternoon to give Keiser a 4-0 lead.
- Lundman would finish her hat trick in the 18th minute, making her the fourth Seahawk to achieve the feat.
- The previous week's hat trick scorer, Oline Sundgot extended the lead to 6-0 in the 22nd minute of the game.
- Lauren Riley caught back up to Kannady in the overall scoring leaderboard in the 26th minute to make it a 7-0 game.
- Sundgot doubled her total in the 31st minute to extend the lead to eight.
- In the 34th minute, Julia Forslund scored her first of the morning before Emily Payne scored her first of her career just 20 seconds later.
- At the halftime whistle, the Seahawks led 10-0 with a 39-0 shot advantage.
- The game was halted early in the second half as inclement weather delayed the game for nearly an hour.
- Just after the restart, Symantha Campos scored her first career goal to bring the score to 11-0.
- Just after the 70th minute, inclement weather rolled in again and the game was called due to the weather.
- Keiser picked up their eighth shutout victory, improving their overall record to 11-0-1.
- The 11-0 win was the largest margin of victory this season for KU.
- It was also a season-high for the team in points(37), goals(11), assists(15), shots(48), and shots on goal (26).
- The 15 assists were the fourth-most in program history for Keiser.
- Lundman became the fourth hat trick scorer for the Seahawks and second in as many games.
- Henriksson's four assists were not only a career-high for the defender, but also tied for the second-best mark in program history.
- With Kannady's two goals and Riley's one, the two are now tied atop the scoring leaderboard.
- Though Henriksson took the lead in overall assists, Koshijima still leads the team in points with 24.
- Goalkeeper Maude Rouanet got her first win in net for her Seahawks career.
