Led by Brooklyn VandeHei's career-high 25 kills, the Keiser volleyball team won its conference home opener, 3-2, over the Southeastern Fire on Saturday. VandeHei notched a triple-double in the win with 25 kills, 27 assists and 11 digs.
 

• 2/3: Despite falling behind 5-0 and 5-1 in sets two and three respectively, Keiser battled back to win both sets and take a 2-1 lead over the Fire. 
• 4: Saturday's victory was the fourth straight for the Seahawks over the Fire.
• 4-0: KU improved to 4-0 all-time versus SEU in five-set matches.
• 5: Five Seahawks reached double-figures in kills (Ryelle Cox - 12, VandeHei - 25, Cassie Cox - 11, Amber Dilsaver - 12, Anna Lea Kuster - 10).
• 9: With a team-high 35 assists and 14 digs, Hannah Heide posted her ninth double-double of 2021.
• 11: With 11 digs, Ryelle Cox notched her third double-double of the season.
• 13: The win impoves KU to 13-16 all-time versus Southeastern.
• 25: VandeHei notched a career-high 25 kills versus the Fire. 
• 71: The team's 71 kills were the most in a single match this season.
• .562: Cassie Cox hit a match- and season-high .562 (11 kills, 2 errors, 16 total attacks). 
• 3,256: VandeHei added to her school-record for career assists, posting 27 to move to 3,256 during her time with the Seahawks.
