No. 3 Keiser University advanced to the NAIA Final Site with a 1-0 shutout of No. 13 Columbia in the NAIA Opening Round Championship game in Columbia, Missouri.

The Seahawks will now look to defend their NAIA National Championship, starting on April 27 in Foley, Alabama.

• Columbia had the best scoring chance of the opening half in the 17th minute when Ronja Henriksson was called for a foul in the box.
• However, Abigail Meyer's penalty kick was saved by Grace McClellan.
• The game remained deadlocked at the half with Keiser holding a 4-1 edge in shots.
• Maja Henriksson scored the game-winner in the 78th minute, heading home a cross by Linnea Axengren that was passed on by Kyoka Koshijma.

• Keiser is 23-11-1 all-time in the NAIA National Tournament.
• The Seahawks haven't played an opening-round tournament game on the road since 2007.
• KU picked up their second victory against an NAIA Top 25 team this season.
• This was the first matchup in program history between these two teams.
• Maxi Krug had a game-best four shots off the bench for the Seahawks.
• McClellan made two saves in net, earning her sixth win of the year.
