No. 4 Men's Lacrosse Eases Past St. Andrews, 15-3, on Senior Night

The fourth-ranked Seahawks eased past St. Andrews 15-3 on Senior Night in West Palm Beach on Sunday evening.

Keiser recognized their five seniors prior to the game; Thomas Coppini, Hunter East, Brandon Ehlebracht, John Senior, and Weston Waerness.


First Quarter
Keiser 2, St. Andrews 0
  • Senior opened the scoring with an unassisted goal at the 8:29 mark.
  • The Seahawks extended the margin to 2-0 as Landon Underwood found the back of the net off a feed from Dylan Sharpe.

Second Quarter
Keiser 9, St. Andrews 1
  • Keiser tallied the first six goals of the quarter, upping the margin to 8-0 with 2:59 remaining in the half.
  • During the stretch, Underwood scored three goals and Senior added two.
  • St. Andrews netted their first goal with 37 seconds remaining but East notched the final goal of the half with 26 ticks to go as KU led 9-1 at the half.

Third Quarter
Keiser 11, St. Andrews 2
  • Josten Ucros netted the first goal of the new half off a pass from Cole Stassi as the scoreboard read, 10-1Keiser with 11:12 left.
  • The Knights made it an eight-goal game with 6:19 remaining but a man-up goal by Senior gave the home team an 11-2 advantage with one quarter left on senior night.

Fourth Quarter
Keiser 15, St. Andrews 3
  • After trading goals to open the final frame, Gavin Goeden netted his first collegiate goal as the Seahawks led 13-3 with 5:48 to go.
  • Senior completed his hat-trick on an unassisted goal with 4:27 remaining.
  • Just as time expired, Ryan Schwartz scored his first career goal as KU won the contest, 15-3.

  • 3: Tyler Suckling-Ward led the contest with three caused turnovers.
