The No. 4 Keiser women's soccer team saw their four-game win streak come to an end Saturday afternoon, falling to No. 1 William Carey, 2-0.

.How it Happened
  • William Carey's Ana Paula Santos netted the lone goal of the first half with a 30-yard strike off of her right foot that snuck into the bottom left corner.
  • Keiser failed to attempt a shot in the opening half of play.
  • The Seahawks missed on a prime opportunity for the equalizer as Maja Henriksson found Matilda Ovenberger with a nice through ball, but Ovenberger slipped on the shot in the 58th minute.
  • Three minutes later, Alyssia Davis found the back of the net off of a deflection by the keeper, Grace McClellan, extending the Crusader's advantage to 2-0. Santos was credited with the assist.

  • The Seahawks trail in the all-time series 8-3.
  • Keiser has now lost four straight games to the Crusaders.
  • KU is now 1-1 against WCU in West Palm Beach.
  • With the loss, Keiser drops to 4-1 in spring play.
  • The Seahawks held a 7-1 advantage on corner kicks.
