No. 3 Keiser women's lacrosse charged past the Knights of St. Andrews, 19-3, Thursday afternoon on the road.

The Seahawks are now off to their second-best start in program history, with the best coming in 2018, 7-0.

First Half
Keiser 14, St. Andrews 2
  • Madalyn Huber wasted no time putting Keiser on the board, netting the opening goal of the game just 45 seconds in.
  • Keiser kept it rolling as they pushed their lead to 6-0 following Melanie Brown's 14th goal of the year at the 21:46 mark.
  • Huber paced Keiser during the run with two of the six goals.
  • St. Andrews stopped the bleeding momentarily with their first score of the day to cut the deficit to 6-1 as 20:54 showed on the clock.
  • The Seahawks responded with a 6-0 run, capped off by Huber's third hat-trick of the season, to lead 12-1 as 7:59 remained in the half.
  • Following a St. Andrews goal, Valeria Lomaglio answered with her first hat-trick of the season to extend Keiser's lead to 13-2 with 2:12 left in the half.
  • Bridget Reddington found Madison Andrews for the final goal of the half as Keiser led 14-2 at the break.

Second Half

  • The Knights claimed the first goal out of the break at the 15:42 mark to cut the Keiser lead to 14-3.
  • Melanie Brown's fourth hat-trick of the year jump-started a 5-0 run as the Seahawks charged past the Knights for the 19-3 win.

  • 3: After collecting three ground balls, Huber is just three away from the school career record.
  • 4: Lomaglio netted a career-high four goals in the win.
  • 5: Talia Myers scooped up a game-best five ground balls and five draw controls.
  • 7: Jessica Covell is just seven saves away from the all-time school record after stopping five shots.
  • 9: The Seahawks picked up nine more ground balls than St. Andrews.
