The No. 2 women's lacrosse team rolled past Ave Maria, 19-2, in a Mid-South Conference matchup Monday evening.
With the victory, the Seahawks are off to their best start in program history.

- Keiser stormed out of the gates as Talia Myers found the back of the net :17 into the contest to put Keiser up 1-0.
- Behind a hat-trick from Madison Andrews, the Seahawks bumped their advantage to 8-0 as 6:53 remained in the half.
- Ave Maria finally broke through on the scoreboard at the 5:17 mark to put a halt to the KU run.
- Lena Finkelstein responded with her fourth goal of the season to increase the KU lead back to eight, 9-1, with 4:05 left in the period.
- Both teams traded the final two goals of the half as the Seahawks led 10-2 at the break.

- Andrews continued her strong performance as she opened the second half scoring with her fourth goal of the night as Keiser led 11-2 with 25:49 left in the game.
- The Seahawks scored the final eight goals of the contest as they pitched a second half shutout to defeat the Gyrenes, 19-2
- Myers paced the run with her third and fourth goals of the night as the freshman collected her second hat-trick of the year.

- 2: Melanie Brown, Bridget Reddington and Cat Raymond dished out two assists apiece to lead all players.
