The No. 2 women's lacrosse team cruised to their seventh straight win with a 25-3 victory over Mid-South Conference foe Webber International Thursday evening. 

With the victory, the Seahawks have now matched the 2018 squad for the best start in program history.

In the win, Madison Andrews set a new single game program record with seven assists. Also, Madalyn Huber and Melanie Brown surpassed 100 points for their careers. 



Keiser 13, Webber 1

• Keiser struck first on a free position goal from Sydney Passaro at the 26:42 mark.
• Passaro bumped the Seahawks advantage to 4-0 following goals from Cat Raymond and Talia Myers, forcing a Webber timeout as 22:34 showed on the clock.
• The Seahawks netted three more scores over the next 4:30 of play to increase their lead to 7-0.
• During the surge, Passaro completed her first hat-trick of the season.
• Webber put a halt to the run with their first goal of the day on a man-up opportunity as they cut the KU lead to 7-1 at the 17:01 mark.
• Keiser responded with six consecutive goals by six different Seahawks to close out the half with a 13-1 advantage.

• Out of the break, the Seahawks' offense didn't skip a beat as they quickly upped their lead to 15-1 in the opening five minutes.
• Keiser netted four more goals before an own goal by Layla Benaissa stopped the bleeding momentarily for the Warriors as KU led 19-2 at the 14:34 mark.
• Rebecca Gibson paced the run with her first two goals of the season.
• Bridget Reddington and Amanda Antles registered the next two goals to push KU's lead to 21-2 as 9:32 remained in the contest.
• Webber answered with their third goal of the afternoon to trim the deficit to 21-3 as 9:01 showed on the clock.
• The Seahawks netted the final four goals of the contest to topple Webber, 25-3.

• 2: Six different players recorded at least two goals for KU.
• 3: Three different Seahawks caused three turnovers in the win.
• 4: Brown and Andrews scooped up a game-best four ground balls each.
• 5: Passaro netted a season-high and game-high five goals.
