No. 1 Keiser University played their first-ever home spring game on Sunday afternoon, upending Middle Georgia State, 7-0. The Seahawks led 1-0 at the half before scoring six second half goals.

.How it Happened
  • Matilda Ovenberger nearly opened the scoring in the sixth minute but her header went off the post.
  • The Seahawks broke through in the 25th minute as Ovenberger scored off a perfect set piece by Maja Henriksson from 30-yards out.
  • Just four minutes into the new half, Middle Georgia was called for a hand ball in the box.
  • Kyoka Koshijma then converted the penalty kick, upping the lead to 2-0.
  • Two minutes later, Maja Lundman headed home a corner kick by M. Henriksson.
  • In the 67th minute, the Seahawks scored three goals, extending the margin to 6-0.
  • Ovenberger, M. Henriksson, and Lundman were credited with the goals during the span.
  • Two minutes later, Alicia Drott notched her team leading 12th goal of the season as the Seahawks easily won, 7-0.
