Three Seahawks reached double-figures in scoring but it was not enough as the Keiser men's basketball team (3-2, 2-2 SUN) fell to the Florida Memorial Lions (4-4, 2-1 SUN), 76-70, in overtime on Saturday night.
A 3-pointer by FMU's Corey Benton with 2:16 left in overtime made it a two-possession game as Keiser was unable to take the lead, falling 76-70.
Keiser 34, Florida Memorial 31
- Keiser took its first lead of the contest with a layup by Core'von Lott with 16:59 left in the half, 6-5.
- A 3-pointer by David Pierce Jr. extended the Keiser lead to 9-5, 40 seconds later.
- After a 3-point bucket by Pierce Jr. (7:14), Christian Miller-Cardwell gave the Seahawks a 10-point lead with a fastbreak layup with 6:35 left to play. The bucket was the result of a steal by Marko Radulovic.
- A trey by Radulovic kept the KU lead to 10, 31-21, with 4:22 remaining in the half.
