No. 2 Keiser men's lacrosse suffered a tough 10-9 setback against No. 6 Lawrence Tech on Thursday evening in West Palm Beach. The Blue Devils took advantage of nine Keiser penalties to go 4-for-7 on man-up opportunities.

First Quarter
No. 2 Keiser 3 , No. 6 Lawrence Tech 2
  • John Senior opened the games scoring with an unassisted goal at the 13:19 mark.
  • Senior doubled the advantage off an assist from Anthony Senior with 7:15 remaining in the quarter.
  • Weston Waerness bumped the lead to 3-0, scoring off a feed from Cole Stassi with 3:17 to go.
  • Lawrence Tech netted the final two goals but trailed Keiser, 3-2.

Second Quarter
No. 2 Keiser 4, No. 6 Lawrence Tech 6
  • Hunter East scored the only goal for the Seahawks in the second quarter with 13:50 left in the first half.
  • The Blue Devils netted the final four goals of the half to lead Keiser, 6-4. 

Third Quarter
No. 2 Keiser 7 , No. 6 Lawrence Tech 7
  • East opened the scoring with an unassisted goal at the 10:51 mark as the Seahawks trailed by one.
  • Waerness evened the game on an assist from East with 3:53 to go in the quarter.
  • Just 24 seconds later, Lawrence Tech answered with the go-ahead goal from 30 yards out.
  • East completed his hat-trick with 1:30 showing on the scoreboard as the game was tied at 7-7.

Fourth Quarter
No. 2 Keiser 9 , No. 6 Lawrence Tech 10
  • Dylan Sharpe put Keiser ahead with a man-up goal off a pass from Stassi with 13:50 left.
  • The Blue Devils answered with three straight tallies to retake a 10-8 advantage with 6:52 to go.
  • Hunter Pfeiffer ended the drought at the 3:53 mark as he found the back of the net off a pass from A. Senior.
  • However, the Seahawks were unable to score again as LTU came out on top, 10-9.
