The second-ranked Seahawks played their first non-conference match of the season, defeating No. 17 Cumberlands, 6-1 on Friday afternoon.
- The Seahawks got off to a great start as Dugleisy Linarez and Anais Gabriel blanked Shimeno and Steely in the middle spot.
- Keiser won the next two matches by the same score of 6-3 as the Seahawks led 1-0 after doubles play.
- No. 6 Gabriel extended the margin to 2-0 with a 6-0, 6-1, victory against Fros in the second position.
- The Seahawks made the advantage to 3-0 after No. 7 Sarah Schaerer was victorious, 6-1. 6-1.
- Eighth-ranked, Lisa Khamassi upended Grace Steely, 6-2, 6-1, to clinch the match for Keiser.
- Joyce Nouws toppled Beckmann in the sixth spot, 6-1, 6-2. stretching the Seahawks advantage to 5-0.
- Keiser dropped their first match of the day in the top spot when Linarez fell to No. 5 Nagano, 6-4, 6-2 but still led 5-1.
- For the second straight match, Anais Ruyssen capped off the victory for the Seahawks with a 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 win in the third position.

Keiser plays their third conference match of the year tomorrow against Warner at 1:00 p.m. The match will be played at Patch Reef Park in Boca Raton, Fla.
