Trailing 11-10 with 9:46 remaining in the contest, the No. 4 Keiser women's lacrosse team ran off four straight goals to claim the lead for good to defeat Lynn in their home opener Wednesday evening.
Keiser 4, Lynn 8
- Se'Anna Beikirch and Maria Johnson netted the first two goals of the game for the Seahawks as they led 2-0 at the 22:13 mark.
- Lynn answered with two unanswered tallies to tie the game at two-apiece with 20:29 remaining in the first half.
- Melanie Brown briefly put Keiser back on top but the Fighting Knights scored two unanswered to claim their first lead of the game, 4-3, with 13:48 to go.
- Johnson's second goal of the game evened the contest as Lynn called a timeout with 8:09 left in the half.
- Out of the stoppage, Lynn scored the final four goals of the half to lead 8-4.

- A Cat Raymond goal was sandwiched between a pair of Beikirch tallies as the Seahawks pulled to within one, 8-7, with 19:40 to play.
- After trading goals, Brown found the back of the net to tie the game at 9-9 with 12:37 remaining in the second half.
- Lynn accounted for the next two goals to reclaim the advantage but goals from Beikirch and Brown equalized the game at 11-11 with 8:12 left.
- Following their own timeout, Madalyn Huber scored an unassisted goal as the Keiser led for the first time since the opening half, 12-11, with 7:59 to go.
- Goals from Brown and Raymond gave the Seahawks their largest lead of the game, 14-11, with 3:06 showing.
- The Fighting Knights notched the final goal of the game with 25 seconds left as the Seahawks won their home opener, 14-12.
