Keiser University concluded their 2019-20 season with a 96-90 victory against St. Thomas on Saturday afternoon in the Fernandez Center. The Seahawks wrapped up their campaign with a 14-14 overall record and 8-10 conference mark.
Keiser 21, St. Thomas 16
- St. Thomas tallied the opening six points before the Seahawks went on an 8-0 run capped by back-to-back three-pointers from Antigonie Sanabria and Emily Patton to lead 8-6 with five minutes remaining.
- The Bobcats briefly tied the game, but an 8-1 spurt capped by a Daniela Barrios three-pointer, put Keiser back on top, 16-9, with 2:43 to go.
- Keiser was outscored by two during the remainder of the quarter but led 21-16.
Keiser 42, St. Thomas 40
- Despite Patton scoring the Seahawks first five points, the Bobcats evened the game at 26-26 with 6:52 remaining, forcing Keiser to take a timeout.
- The Bobcats went ahead by three and maintained a one-possession advantage until an old-fashion three-point play by Midori Long tied the game at 35-35 with 2:58 showing.
- After STU split a pair at the line, baskets by Patton and Sanabria put KU back in the lead, 40-36, with 1:56 to go.
- The Seahawks went into the half with a 42-40 advantage as Patton (12) and Sanabria (10) had double-digit points.

- Long and Patton opened the second half with back-to-back baskets as KU's lead grew to six with 8:20 left.
- St. Thomas continued to chip away at their deficit, knotting the score at 53-53 at the 4:59 media timeout.
- Following two scoreless minutes, the Bobcats went on an 8-0 run to take a 61-53 lead with 3:15 remaining.
- The Seahawks responded back with a 13-4 run to climb ahead of the Bobcats, 66-65, with 30 ticks left.
- St. Thomas notched the final bucket of the frame with 15 seconds left to lead 67-66 with one quarter left.

- The Seahawks took their largest lead of the game, 88-77, on a Nikki Saunders layup with 3:05 remaining.
- STU got as close as four, 94-90, with 11 seconds showing as Keiser took a timeout to regroup.
- Saunders iced the game away with a pair of free throws as the Seahawks closed the year with a 96-90 road victory.
