No. 17 Keiser concluded their regular season home slate with a wire-to-wire victory over visiting Florida Memorial. It was Senior Night inside the Student Life Center, as seven Seahawks were honored prior to the game: Charles Chung, CJ Fisher, Jermar Perkins, Mark Gordon, Malcolm Mabry, Chance Anderson, and Marko Orlic.

How it Happened

First Half
No. 17 Keiser 45, Florida Memorial 32
  • The Seahawks held a 7-2 lead at the game's opening media timeout with 14:57 on the clock.
  • Keiser's defense held the Lions to just two baskets on their first 13 attempts as their lead reached seven points, 11-4, after a thunderous follow up jam from Gavin Antoine at the 11:27 mark.
  • Florida Memorial trimmed the margin to 13-9 at the next media timeout, with 10:00 remaining.
  • After the Lions drew to within a single possession, 14-11, the Seahawks went on a 14-1 run to go in front 28-12 with 5:52 remaining in the half. Orlic canned two triples during the run, which was capped off by an emphatic fastbreak dunk from Gordon.
  • FMU used an 8-2 run to draw within 30-20, but Gordon sunk two straight three-pointers, pushing the Seahawks lead to 36-20, with 2:44 on the clock.
  • The teams traded buckets down the stretch as the Seahawks led 45-32 at the halftime whistle.
  • Keiser forced 12 Florida Memorial turnovers with ten steals in the first 20 minutes of play, resulting in nine points off turnovers.

  • Ryan Kroll sank a corner triple to hand the Seahawks their first 20-point lead of the game, 59-39, with 15:32 on the clock.
  • Florida Memorial responded with a 21-4 run, climbing back to within a possession, 63-60, as the half neared the midway point.
  • Keiser answered in a big way, igniting the crowd with a 13-3 run, establishing a 76-63 advantage, capped off by another explosive dunk from Antoine in transition with just 6:51 still to play.
  • The Lions did not go quietly as they scored the next eight points, drawing to within five, 76-71, with 5:22 on the clock.
  • Orlic's third three-pointer of the game and yet another Gordon throw down turned the tide right back in favor of Keiser, as the Seahawks seized a 81-71 lead with 4:26 remaining.
  • The Lions were unable to get any closer than seven points from that point forward, as the Seahawks claimed the 88-80 victory, improving to 12-2 on their home floor.
