CoreVon Lott made two free throws to give Keiser their first Sun Conference victory of the season.

- The opening two minutes were ice cold for both teams until Marko Radulovic and Ryan Kroll hit back-to-back three-pointers to lead 6-2 with 17:35 left.
- Following an SEU bucket, Keiser went on an 11-1 run, stretching the margin to 17-5 with 13:05 to go. During the spurt, Radulovic and John Mason had five points apiece.
- The Seahawks held the Fire to single digits until the 10:23 mark as the advantage favored the Seahawks, 24-10.
- Out of the media timeout, the Fire ran off four unanswered points as Keiser took a full timeout, leading, 24-14, with 7:48 to go.
- Keiser regrouped by running off the next five points as their lead sat at 29-14 with 5:43 left in the half.
- Southeastern responded with an 8-0 burst, closing the gap to seven, 29-22, with 4:12 showing on the scoreboard.
- The teams traded buckets down the stretch with Keiser leading the Fire at the intermission, 34-28.
- Mason was a spark off the bench for the Seahawks with 10 points.

- Back-and-forth, we went to open the second half until Southeastern got to within five, 41-36, with 17:53 left.
- A pair of Radulovic three-pointers along with a Quinton Glaspie bucket in the paint bumped the lead to 49-38, forcing SEU to take a timeout with 15:24 showing.
- The Fire continued battling, trimming the margin to nine, 59-50, with 9:25 to go but Antwan Claxton answered with a three-pointer.
- Keiser remained in control until SEU knotted the game at 68-68 with two minutes remaining on the heels of an 8-0 run.
- A pair of Riley Minix free throws put the visitors on top, 70-68, with 1:35 left, their first lead since the opening minutes of the contest.
- Kroll knotted the game up at 70-70 with a pair of free throws as the game had just 1:30 to go in regulation.
- After both teams got big stops on the defensive end, Kroll corralled a rebound and crossed the mid-court line when Keiser took a timeout with 2.7 showing.
- Out of the timeout, Southeastern was called for a foul with 1.4 seconds to go, sending Lott to the line for a one-and-one opportunity.
- Lott stepped up to the stripe and made the first to lead by one and KU took their final timeout of the half.
- Lott made the second one and it was Southeastern's turn to take their final timeout of the game down by two.
- The Seahawks got the final stop of the game, picking up their first conference victory of the season and getting back to .500 on the year.
