The second-seeded Keiser Seahawks toppled Webber International, 5-1 in the Sun Conference quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon. The Seahawks advance to the semifinals on Tuesday at home.

.How it Happened
  • The Seahawks first chance came in the sixth minute but Emma Holmskov's shot was cleared off the line by a defender as the goalkeeper was out of position.
  • Keiser broke through in the 23rd minute as Holmskov scored off a pair of assists from Maja Henriksson and Oline Sundgot.
  • Webber equalized just two minutes later when Charlee Lutton chipped the keeper from 35 yards out.
  • In the 31st minute, Alicia Drott had an excellent opportunity to put KU back on top but her shot on a breakaway went wide left.
  • Maxi Krug's rocket from 25 yards out banged off the left post and cleared out of danger as the game remained tied at one-apiece.
  • KU went on top in the 38th minute as M. Henriksson touched the ball home off a pair of assists from Larissa Weber and Krug.
  • Weber nearly added a third goal in the opening half but her attempt was cleared off the line by a defender but Keiser led the Warriors, 2-1 at the half.
  • An own goal in the 53rd minute extended the Keiser University advantage to 3-1.
  • The margin grew to 4-1 in the 59th minute as Kyoka Koshijma finished off a floated cross from Weber.
  • Maja Lundman headed in the fifth goal for the Seahawks on a Krug corner kick as the game hit the 74th minute.

  • This is Keiser's first appearance in the Sun Conference quarterfinals in program history.
  • Keiser moved to 18-5-2 all-time in Sun Conference tournament games.
  • The Seahawks moved to 21-2-0 all-time against the Warriors.
  • Krug and Weber finished with two assists apiece.
  • Lundman and Krug finished with nine shots apiece.
  • Amanda Ewald made two saves in goal.
