Behind the most dominating defensive performance of the season, the No. 9 Keiser football rolled past Mid-South Sun Division foe Warner University, 61-0 on a rainy Saturday night.
The Keiser defense held the Royals to a season-low 80 yards of total offense, returned two interceptions for touchdowns, tallied a school-record seven sacks and forced five total turnovers on the evening.
No. 9 Keiser 28, Warner 0
- On the first play of the game for the Seahawks, Antwione Sims took it 72-yards to the house for the opening touchdown. Following a Logan Robinson extra-point, Keiser led 7-0.
- Warner's opening possession stalled on their 16-yard line when Javon Wilson fumbled and Marc Laurore jumped on it at the three-yard line.
- Sims went into the end zone on the very next play, extending the lead to 14-0 with 13:10 remaining.
- The Seahawks defense came up with their second forced fumble of the game as Davion Cross jarred the ball loose and Jalen Wring came up with it at the Royals 17-yard line.
- Again, Sims needed just one touch to find the end zone as the margin grew to 21-0 with 12:29 to go.
- Keiser bumped their lead to 28-0 at the 5:07 mark when Eli Mathews connected with Shavon Taylor for the 27-yard touchdown.

- Mathews and Taylor connected for a second time in the game, hooking up for the 17-yard touchdown as the lead moved to 35-0 with 10:51 left.
- Sage Chen-Young notched his first career pick-six and second interception of the year, returning it 40-yards as the margin grew to 42-0 with 9:29 showing.
- With 15 seconds remaining in the half, Mathews scampered 15-yards into the end zone as Keiser led 49-0 at the halftime break.
- Warner managed just 57 yards of offense in the opening half, 18-yards passing and 39-yards rushing.

- Jaylen Arnold came down with a 10-yard jump ball in the corner of the end zone on a perfect lob by Logan Good. Despite the missed the extra-point by Robinson, KU led 55-0 at the 8:03 mark.

- Keiser notched their second pick-six of the contest with 10:32 to go with Amari Hayes returning it 10-yards. The two-point conversion was unsuccessful as the lead stood at 61-0.
- The Royals managed just 23 yards of offense in the second half and 80 for the game as the Seahawks easily won the contest, 61-0.

Keiser will hit the road for their final away contest of 2020 next Saturday, Oct. 31, as they will face off against the Warriors of Webber International in an MSC Sun Division battle. Kickoff is set for 1:30 PM
