Head Coach
Daniel Finn said, "The conditions were very tough today with extreme winds and a couple rain delays. The ladies did a great job with the conditions as they fought off the rust with their first match of the year. I really liked how we started today as we came out quick with a lot of energy and set the tone from the start. Even though the match was clinched, the ladies continued to bring the energy until the very end. We still have a lot to work on and improve on but it is great to start off the year with a victory. Now we have to get right back to work and get ready for a good test on Saturday against SCAD."

The Seahawks will head to No. 5 SCAD on Saturday for a 12:00 p.m. conference match.
