The No. 2 women's team surged to a 3-0 start in the first half and cruised the rest of the way to a 6-1 victory over Life University for their second road win of the season. Keiser has now won two straight matches.

How it Happened
  • Keiser struck first at the six minute mark as Maxi Krug found Emma Holmskov, who netted her first goal of the year.
  • Linnea Axengren connected with Filippa Millqvist on a nice cross in the box for the Seahawks second goal of the match in the 29th minute.
  • As the first half began to wind down, Maja Lundman notched her first goal of the 2019 campaign in the 38th minute thanks to an assist by Ebba Gustafsson.
  • The Seahawks headed into intermission with a 3-0 lead and outshot Life 16-2 in the first half.
  • The Running Eagles trimmed the Keiser lead to 3-1 in the 50th minute as Alice Walford was able to sneak one past Keiser's goalie, Nina Haeberlin, off an assist from Alexandra Collighan.
  • Holmskov would have the answer for the Seahawks as she scored her second goal of the match in the 73rd minute. Krug served up the assist.
  • Maja Henriksson and Alicia Drott each found the back of the net in the 77th and 86th minute respectively to make the final tally 6-1. Larissa Weber and Holmskov recorded the assists on the final two goals.
 
Game Notes
  • This was the first meeting in program history between these two teams.
  • Holmskov, Millqvist and Lundman led the game with six shots each.
  • Holmskov had a game-best four shots on goal.
