Coach's Corner
Head Coach Daniel Finn said, "This stings. It's never easy to play for a Championship and come out on the losing end. Credit to Gwinnett,  they played well today and are a great team. I have a lot of respect for Coach Hodges and his team. Congratulations to them. We knew today would come down to doubles play and honestly we didn't have our best performance. We had great game plans but struggled to execute.  With that said, I am very proud of the ladies and how hard they fought to get back in the match after singles started. Honestly, there was a moment early in singles where it look like things could've ended quick and our girls really bit down and fought extremely hard and the momentum started to turn in our favor. I can honestly say the girls fought until the very last ball. It's just hard to process that the season is over and we didn't come away with it. This loss should not define this year's team. This women's team is very special to me and honestly has gotten me more emotional than any other. Day in and day out these young women brought an extraordinary commitment to what they did. To our seniors, Aleksandra, Emma, and Lorene, I am just grateful to be able to say I coached these amazing young women. I know without a doubt that they will be successful in whatever they choose to do.  Them and the returners have done so much to set the tone for next year in what will only continue to improve our program. This program is one of the premier small college programs in the county, thanks to these ladies and the future of it is only going to continue to be bright."
