Turning Point
With the game tied in the sixth, Warner connected on a three-run home run to establish the lead for good.

How it Happened
  • Warner struck first with an RBI fielder's choice in the first before Keiser scored four runs on three hits in the second.
  • The Seahawks loaded the bases with nobody-out when Miguel Casanueva ripped an RBI single to left, tying the game at 1-1. A walk and hit by pitch proceeded a Crocitto sacrifice fly to left as the Seahawks took a 4-1 advantage.
  • The Royals came alive in the fifth with four runs on four hits to jump back ahead of the Seahawks, 5-4.
  • Drew Reilly connected on his third home run of the series with a solo shot to left in the bottom half as the game was tied up at five-apiece.
  • However, Warner retook the lead in the sixth with a three-run home run and kept the Seahawks off the board to even the series at one-apiece.

Keiser Highlights
  • Nate VanKan went four-for-five at the plate with three runs batted in.
  • Nick Diaz, Crocitto, and Encarnacion all had three hits in the final game of the series.
  • Encarnacion drove in three runs while Diaz and VanKan had two RBI's.
  • Erick Vargas notched his first win of the year, throwing two solid innings of relief.

How it Happened
  • VanKan led off the third with a double to left and moved to third on a bobbled, Shane Olive sacrifice bunt to third. Following catcher's interference to load the bases, Hall lifted a one-out sacrifice fly to right for a 1-0 advantage.
  • A dropped fly ball by the right fielder allowed a second run to cross the plate and an RBI single to center by Encarnacion extended the lead to 3-0.
  • Warner plated a pair of runs in the fourth but KU answered with three of their own in the bottom half.
  • Casanueva laced a leadoff single to right before scoring on a double to the left-center gap by VanKan. He would eventually score on a wild pitch, following a strikeout. Crocitto capped the inning in style with a solo home run to left as the Seahawks led 6-2.
  • The Royals scored a run in the fifth on a two-out single to center but Keiser responded with two in the bottom half.
  • Gottsacker plated a run with a sacrifice fly to center and VanKan ripped an RBI single through the right-side to make it 8-3.
  • In the sixth, KU loaded the bases with one-out when Encarnacion went opposite field on the first pitch he saw, extending the lead to 10-3.
  • Diaz blasted a two-run home run to left-center in the seventh and VanKan ended the game early in the eighth with an RBI double to right-center as Keiser won, 13-3.
