KU HIGHLIGHTS
  • The Seahawks set new season-highs in goals and assists, while also tying a season-high mark with 43 shots in the contest with 39 on goal to cruise to their third win over an NAIA Top-10 opponent this season.
  • The final nine goals of the game were credited off the Seahawk sticks, as Keiser pulled away for the second victory in 2019 in two outings so far on Arrigo Vecellio Field.
  • Four Seahawks had hat-tricks and seven different players had multi-goal games. In the goal scoring department, No. 5 Keiser was led by Hayley Mazreku who matched a season-high with four goals, all of which came in the opening half.
  • Cat Raymond paced the Seahawks with six points on two goals and four assists.
  • Se'Anna Beikirch, Melanie Brown, and Lena Finkelstein found the back of the net three times apiece, with Finkelstein's three goals matching a season-high. Brown also had two assists for a total of five points, representing the second time this season the freshman has been able to reach that mark.
  • Madalyn Huber was a key component to Keiser's dominance in draw controls, as she amassed 12 in the contest.
  • Beikirch was also active in gathering and forcing loose balls, finishing with a game-high eight ground balls, collecting six draw controls, and forcing three Siena Heights' turnovers.
  • Jessica Covell and Mickey Sherrill split time in net for Keiser, with Covell starting and making one stop in a little over 26 minutes played and Sherrill halting two Saint shots while conceding just three goals in her 33:18 played.
TURNING POINT
With a little under 20 minutes still to play in the game, Siena Heights was within four goals, trailing Keiser 15-11. From that point on however, Keiser turned it on and dictated play until the final whistle for the lopsided win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Keiser notched the game's first two goals in the opening 1:40 of play, first with a score from Huber and then a finish from Mazreku on Raymond's pass.
  • Siena Heights split the early deficit in half with a goal before Keiser produced two more to make it 4-1 with 25:41 on the clock, the latter goal coming from Kyli Towner when the Seahawks were down a player after a penalty.
  • Siena Heights produced three of the next four goals to draw to within a single goal, but then Brown was able to create two unassisted goals just 22 seconds apart to push it back up to a three-goal advantage, 7-4 with 18:26 left in the half.
  • The score seesawed back-and-forth until it sat at 9-6 Keiser after another Towner goal, which proved to start a spurt of four unanswered Seahawk scores that was capped off by Mazreku's fourth of the contest to make it 12-6 with 5:28 until halftime.
  • The final three markers of the opening half belonged to the Saints however, and the two sides went into the halftime huddles with Keiser leading 12-9.
  • Keiser netted three unassisted goals to start the second half and build a six-goal advantage, but once again the Saints were able to keep within striking range after two more tallies made it 15-11 with 19:19 still to play.
  • From that point forward however, No. 5 Keiser enforced its will on both sides of the ball, pressuring Siena Heights on their clear attempts to force the Saints into live ball turnovers in the Seahawk's attacking third of the field.
  • Beginning with a Maria Johnson goal at the 16:43 mark and capped off by a Bridget Reddington shot that found its mark with 15 seconds left, Keiser accounted for the final nine goals of the contest to pull away for the convincing 24-11 victory.
