How it Happened
- Bellevue pushed across three runs in the first before Keiser got a run back in the bottom half on a three-base throwing error by the pitcher, following a single back to him by Hall.
- The Bruins made it 4-1 until the third when the Seahawks pushed across three runs to tie the game.
- De La Cruz led off the inning with a first pitch home run to left. An RBI single up the middle by VanKan and a sacrifice fly to right by Fernandez knotted the game at 4-4.
- The Bruins jumped back ahead in the fifth with a three run home run to left and held the Seahawks off until their epic comeback in the seventh
- Hall started the rally with a one-out single to short before being retired at second on a fielder's choice as the Seahawks were down to their final out.
- VanKan then drew a walk and pinch-hitter, Drew Reilly brought in a pair of runs with a full-count double to the left-center gap as the margin was trimmed to 7-6.
- Diaz crushed the first pitch he saw over the left field fence as the Seahawks went crazy in celebration as Keiser completed the comeback to split the doubleheader by a final of 8-7.
