TURNING POINT
No. 5 Keiser was able to turn a 1-1 game early in the opening quarter into a 7-1 advantage at the end of the first 15 minutes of play, dictating play and finding offensive success against the Cavaliers' defense.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kalmowitz netted the game's opening score just 1:10 into the contest, but Montreat answered just 11 seconds later to draw even at 1-1.
- Keiser concluded the opening quarter with six unanswered goals to lead 7-1, a run that began and ended with a goal from Senior.
- Kalmowitz produced his second, third, and fourth goals of the game in a span of just 2:41 early in the second quarter, as the Seahawks run eventually extended to ten unanswered goals to go in front 11-1 with 10:45 left in the half.
- Montreat didn't put a halt to the Keiser run until there was just 1:14 left in the half as the two sides went into the break with the Seahawks holding the comfortable 11-2 lead.
- Though the Cavaliers found an early third quarter score to make it 11-3, Senior completed his hat-trick to begin a span of five consecutive Seahawk goals before the third quarter concluded with the score resting at 16-3 Keiser.
- The teams exchanged goals in the fourth and final period until it was 18-5 Keiser with 7:46 remaining as Coppini notched his third and final tally of the game.
- Nick Wilson scored his first collegiate goal off a pass from Dylan Sharpe with 5:30 on the clock to push the Seahawk lead to 19-5.
- Montreat was able to record the final three goals of the game, but it was far too little, too late, as Keiser prevailed by the final score of 19-8.

Coach's Corner
"It was a hard fought game," said Head Coach
Patrick Johnston. "Montreat is a good team who battled for 60 minutes. We got better as a team in transition, but we need to do better on faceoffs and taking care of the ball. If we want to get the outcomes we want, it's all about the ball and we just can't turn it over and lose 50/50 balls."
