- No. 19 Schaerer pulled the Seahawks to within one of clinching the match as she cruised past DeLaPerriere in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0.
- For the second straight match, No. 13 Melanie Dveksler clinched it as the freshman triumphed over Moller, 6-1, 6-1, in the third spot.
- With the match clinched, the Seahawks won the final four singles matches, dropping just six points to Coastal Georgia. The highlight of those matches was the shutout by Grela in the fifth slot.

Daniel Finn said, "Strong effort for the ladies today. They knew what they needed to do and took care of it from the beginning. The conditions today were certainly challenging, from the abnormal amount of gnats flying around, to the rain delay we had to wait through. Really happy to see the ladies maintain composure and come out intense and take care of things. Now we can get ready for another tough match coming up Wednesday against the #1 team in D2."
