How it Happened
- Campbellsville got off to an early start, scoring three runs in the first and a pair in the second to take a 5-0 advantage. Of the five runs, three were unearned.Â
- KU broke through in the second on an RBI single up the middle by Carver, scoring Dominguez, who had reached on a fielder's choice. The second run of the frame came via a throwing error by the Tigers shortstop as the Seahawks trailed 5-2.
- The Seahawks made it a two-run game in the third as Avery Miler plated Thompson with an RBI single to right.
- However, the Tigers drove in three runs in the fourth to extend the margin back out to 8-3.
- Carver got a run back in the bottom half with an RBI double to center, scoring Ostrander, who had reached base earlier in the inning on an error.
- CU pushed across one final run in the sixth before Keiser attempted to rally in the bottom half.
- Dominguez drew a leadoff walk before coming in to score on an Ostrander double to left as the Seahawks trailed 9-5. Keiser's final run came via a two-out RBI bunt-single to first by Lexi Northway as the Seahawks dropped their first game of the year, 9-6.

Keiser Highlights
- Paige Boyle suffered her first loss of the 2019 season after tossing 7.1 innings and striking out three Campbellsville hitters.
- The Seahawks were led in hits by Troiana Test and Carver, both recording two hits.
How it Happened
- The Seahawks scored the opening run of the game on a wild sequence of events. Ostrander reached base with a two-out single before advancing to second on a wild pitch and stealing third. She would then cross home on a throwing error by the Tigers catcher.Â
- Campbellsville took a 2-1 lead in the bottom half of the third, on a two-run home run to center field. Following the long ball, Boyle settled down and retired the next nine Tiger batters.
- Keiser had their backs against the wall in the seventh until Carver came up with a game tying one-out double to right, scoring Ostrander, who drew a walk.
- With the international tiebreaker in effect, Keiser started the top half of the eighth with Ally Thompson on second base. Avery Miller then followed with an RBI single to left field, driving in the go-ahead run, giving KU the 3-2 lead.
- However, Campbellsville answered with two runs in the bottom half on an RBI single to center and a game-ending error on the Seahawks third basemen, as Keiser fell in the game, 4-3.
