The top overall seed in the Sun Conference Tournament, Keiser men's soccer team blanked the sixth-seeded, Wildcats of Johnson & Wales, 5-0, in the Sun Conference Championship game. With the victory, the Seahawks claimed their third tournament championship in program history.
How it Happened
- The first half was a stalemate until there was just four seconds remaining as Ciro Damine rocketed the ball into the far corner off a pass from Evan Finnegan.
- Just ten seconds into the second half, Adrian Camacho Castro found the back of the net off a pair of assists from Hannu Tam and Alejandro Varela.
- The Seahawks made it 3-0 in the 58th minute as Damine notched his second goal of the game off a through ball from Tam.
- Damine completed his hat-trick in the 60th minute as he got behind the defense on a long ball from Camacho Castro.
- Keiser made it 5-0 in the 70th minute as Sebastian Espino scored off a pair of passes from Noah Graziano and Matheus Machado.
- The Seahawks nearly had a sixth goal in the 89th minute but Julius Fassbinder's penalty kick was saved.
- However, KU claimed their third tournament championship with the 5-0 shutout of the Wildcats.

- The Seahawks last won a tournament championship in 2008.
- The championship was the first for the Seahawks under head coach Gavin Oldham.
- Keiser improved to 6-1-1 at home this season.
- Keiser improves to 11-3-1 all-time against Johnson & Wales.
