The No. 1 women's soccer team eased past USCB 3-0 on Sunday afternoon in Sun Conference play. The Seahawks picked up their second shutout of the young conference season.

How it Happened
  • Keiser grabbed the first goal of the game in the 41st minute as Emma Holmskov scored off a corner by Maja Henriksson.
  • Matilda Ovenberger extended the lead to 2-0 with a penalty kick in the 48th minute.
  • In the 58th minute, Filippa Millqvist crossed the ball to the top of the box where Alicia Drott finished it off, making it 3-0 in favor of the Seahawks.
  • The Seahawks continued to dominate play, recoding their eighth clean sheet of the season en route to the 3-0 victory.
 
Game Notes
  • The Seahawks are now 10-0-0 all-time against the Sand Sharks.
  • Today's game was supposed to be played yesterday but was postponed due to weather.
  • Nina Haeberlin recorded her 18th career shutout in a Seahawks uniform and seventh of the season. The senior didn't have to make a save in the contest.
  • Ovenberger is 4-for-4 on penalty kicks this season.
  • Ovenberger had a game-high eight shots with four going on frame.
